Redesigning Gusto's core product

Gusto payroll worksheet
Gusto is one of the leading HR and payroll providers in the world. In 2022-2023 I led a team of designers, researchers, data scientists and product managers to redesign Gusto's core payroll product. This is the heart of Gusto, and our ambitious vision has dramatically reduced the time it takes to run payroll for hundreds of thousands of Gusto customers.

BigApps 2015

After successfully redesigning and reimagining the world's largest civic hacking program in 2013, the City of New York asked me to update the design and strategy behind the BigApps competition again in 2015. Working with Pentagram, I added a more engaging visual language, a mobile-first approach, and a easier-to-use design.
